Inter-House Carnivals

Throughout the year, we hold our inter-house sport carnivals for Swminning, Athletics and Cross Country.  Students who qualify in their races will move on to compete in the District and Regional competitions.

AGCC Inter-School Sport

St Joseph's College participates in the AGCC interschool sporting competition in Terms 1 - 3, starting from Year 4.  Teams include Touch Football, OzTag, Netball, Basketball, Soccer and Rugby League.  Other part​icipating schools are Marymount College, Aquinas College, Assisi Catholic College, St Michael's College, Gold Coast Christian College, Kings Pimpama and LORDS.

Learn to Swim

​In Term 4, our Primary students participate in a Learn to S​wim program that provides skills in Swimming Technique, Water Confidence, Survival, Water Safety and Endurance.

The Learn to Swim Program is designed to promote the development of your child by:

  • ​Achieving new skills and the positive effect this can have on the individual
  • Being actively involved in swim activities fostering positive interaction with others
  • Commencing a worthwhile recreational activity which can add enjoyment to life
