Look at how we are growing!
At the Beginning of this new era
O God, I find myself at the beginning of a new dawn, a new era, a new school.
I have many hopes for what it may bring.
Share with me your Courage to be ready for whatever it may be.
When I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely.
When I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly.
When I am to teach, help me to do it patiently
When I am to learn, help me to do it intensely
When I am to lead, help me do it humbly
When I am to follow, help me to do it loyally
When I am to listen, help me to do it carefully.
When I am to do nothing but watch and reflect, let me do it with joy.
I pray just for today, for these twenty-four hours, for the ability to cooperate with others according to the way Jesus taught us to live.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
May these words, his words, become my thoughts and actions.
Please free my thinking and feelings and the thinking and feelings of others, from all forms of self-will, self-centeredness, dishonesty, and deception.
Along with my brothers and sisters, I need this freedom to make my choices and decisions for the good and benefit of those I share this time with.
Send your Spirit to inspire me in time of doubt and indecision so that, together, we can walk along your path.
